How Are Gene Keys, Child Sacrifice, and Modern Genocide Related? And How Can One Nervous System Change The World For All Of Us?
Inka people (for the purpose of this musing, I will use the Quechua spelling, more commonly anglicized as “Inca”) utilized child sacrifice to instill fear and create tension and subservience in traditional South American society.
Child sacrifice was religiously and politically justified.
I can’t believe we are still living in a culture that values the sacrifice of human life for any reason, let alone political and religious ones.
I read an article about child sacrifice in Inka times, written by a team of scientists who tested the bodies of the 3 children found at a ceremonial site in Argentina.
(Side note: the way the scientists were sure to express that they were explicitly attempting to be non-biased and non-judgmental of this religious and political act of sacrifice… I get it and it makes sense but it also seems to remove the humanity out of something that is very tragic. We still do this today, with news anchors and politicians inserting only the bare minimum expression of emotion as they report on and “argue” about the atrocities of modern times. Politically- and religiously- and capitalistically-justified genocide. I wonder how the people 800 years from now will report on this.)
These scientists showed that the children, ages ~5 and ~13, were groomed for a year prior to their deaths, for their role in this ritual sacrifice.
They showed this by the changing levels of nutrients and coca/alcohol byproducts in their hair samples depending on the length of the sample (end = older hair, root = newer hair/more recent data.. higher nutrients and coca/alcohol byproducts the closer they moved to their sacrifice).
I couldn’t help but consider how we have all been groomed for years now, to be in fear, to be in collapse, to be in flight, to be in fight mode.
You can see this in our weakened digestion, weakened immune response, weakened nervous system, weakened power, weakened capacity in general.
You can see this in our fertility challenges, our rising infant and maternal mortality and morbidity during pregnancy, birth, and post-birth periods.
The people of these ancient Inkan civilizations were expected to give up their children willingly, as a great honor, without showing fear or sadness externally.
However, internally, it made them fearful, docile, and easy to control. Collapsed. Muted.
The Inkan empire spread extremely rapidly, consciously, strategically.
These specific child sacrifices in the article were carried out and displayed on the highest most sacred mountain in that region…
How similar to the current desecration of the most sacred lands we have on this planet, and their human inhabitants.
As I contemplated this juxtaposition, I had this moment of softening, “This has been the human condition for the entirety of history.”
And then I had this moment of outrage, “This has been the human condition for the entirety of history?!”
But I do have to say, there is hope.
I love the nervous system regulation movement that is happening now.
I can guess that there has never been a time in history where people have been so actively trying to regulate and decondition from past trauma and wounding while at the same time actively living through such intensity and retraumatization in the collective and individual pain body.
At the same time.
We’ve developed a lot of tools over the history (of the shadow) of humanity.
From the perspective of the I Ching, Human Design, and Gene Keys, the collective and individual shadows are how we learn to embrace and activate the most powerful and beautiful aspects of our humanity.
The shadow is the portal to growth and hope. An unavoidable step in the process of evolution.
Through the shadow of DIVISION, HIDING, and DICTATORSHIP, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual GUIDANCE, and ultimately VIRTUE. (GK/Gate 7)
Through the shadow of MALICIOUSNESS, ELITISM, and VANITY, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual DISCRIMINATION, and ultimately PURITY. (GK/Gate 12)
Through the shadow of CONTROL and SUBMISSION, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual AUTHORITY, and ultimately VALOR. (GK/Gate 21)
Through the shadow of DISJOINTEDNESS, FUNDAMENTALISM, and FAILURE, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual PRESERVATION, and ultimately VENERATION. (GK/Gate 32)
Through the shadow of BULLISHNESS, SELF-EFFACING, and FORCE, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual STRENGTH, and ultimately MAJESTY. (GK/Gate 34)
Through the shadow of OVER-SENTIMENTALITY, CRUELTY, and WEAKNESS, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual EQUALITY, and ultimately TENDERNESS. (GK/Gate 37)
Through the shadow of AGGRESSION, DEFEATISM, and STRUGGLE, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual PERSEVERANCE, and ultimately HONOR. (GK/Gate 38)
Through the shadow of POMPOSITY, TIMIDITY, and DOMINANCE, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual SYNERGY, and ultimately COMMUNION. (GK/Gate 45)
Through the shadow of DOGMATISM, HOPELESSNESS, and OPPRESSION, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual TRANSMUTATION, and ultimately TRANSFIGURATION. (GK/Gate 47)
Through the shadow of HOSTILITY, COWARDICE, and AGITATION, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual INITIATION, and ultimately AWAKENING. (GK/Gate 51)
Through the shadow of FANATICISM, DISENCHANTMENT, and PSYCHOSIS, we eventually will find a state of collective and individual INSPIRATION, and ultimately SANCTITY. (GK/Gate 61)
There are so many shadows in our history and our present moment - parts of human nature that we are all learning how to decondition and release so that collectively we can evolve into greater levels of consciousness and alignment with our exalted nature.
And I do want to note that there are places and people who were never, have never been, aggressive, domineering, or justifying of oppression, terror, murder, sacrifice.
There are no sacrificed children preserved in the highest mountains of this country I find myself in - Costa Rica.
There was no warring indigenous tribe here.
The Bribri tribe of this land has a creation god who is a trickster who sent crazy chickens or bats after his frenenemies. Not to kill them but to just make them a little annoyed, and generally for the benefit of the earth anyway.
Not one who instilled subservience through terror.
There is no military here.
Perhaps there is something to learn from a people and country that was never colonized or terrorized or terrorizers in known history.
Perhaps that is why it is today such a Mecca for folks who heal, who help guide others to greater levels of sovereignty, awareness, and self-love.
Folks who want to gather together in communities of like mindedness and interdependence. To use the collective shadow frequencies as portals to greater awakening and alignment.
Yes, the world is full of war, children dying, families being torn apart, sacred lands destroyed … and we don’t have to gloss over any part of that.
It’s horrific and barbaric.
A deep wound and shadow in our collective.
And …
There is hope. If we can choose to utilize the shadow as a portal to evolution.
What is one way you can use this ancient evolutionary technology?
My invitation to you is to start with discovering the shadow you carry within yourself. None of us are outliers, we all carry shadow frequency, pain, and trauma.
And then contemplate one small step you can take to dissolve and evolve just a bit of that.
1%. Or even .01%. It all matters.
And eventually, through our inner individual inquiry and evolution, we will become the folks needed, with the power and gifts needed, in order to change humanity, change the world, into what we all know we/it can be. Together.
And so it is.
